RUMMAGE through our MOVING BOXES - ROOFLESS HITS L.A.

Since Myspace seems to be going the way of the dinosaur, we've decided we couldn't put it off any longer.  Its time to move everything over here to a blog.  We didn't want to lose our archives tho...so here's some of our older posts:  ROOFLESS HITS L.A.

ROOFLESS knocked the Musical Theatre Industry on its ear at the Los Angeles ASCAP/DISNEY Musical Theatre Workshop in early 2005, creating a buzz that reached coast to coast.   Hand-picked for the workshop by Broadway legend Stephen Schwartz and Michael Kerker, Head of ASCAP's Musical Theatre Division, we were the textbook definition of "unknowns."    The 2 performances were very successful.  The buzz from the first performance spread quickly, resulting in a standing-room-only audience for our second performance.  Hundreds of Musical Theatre professionals and enthusiasts packed into the commissary at the Disney Studios in Burbank.   They had a hard time believing we were from Tulsa, OK...okay?  We repped our city further by showcasing a small cast that was 5-deep with Tulsa talent. (pictured in the center of the collage below, left to right, AnnaMaria Pasley, David "Sho'Tyme" Holmes, "Johnny Polygon," Michael Fruga, & Julian Thomas.  We also discoverd some great LA Talent who rounded out the cast.  Sufe Bradshaw, Rachael Genevieve, Pamela Holt & Houston-based Andrea G)

A few months later we were thrilled to receive the news we had been selected for the Arlen Award, our first National recognition as Musical playwrights.
